I'm 16, weigh 115-120 pounds right now, and have an absolutely annoying concentration of fat on my stomach. And no-where else.
I'm sure it has something to do with genetics.
All of march and early april I ran HIIT every other day and ate extremely lean (read:carefully.....1,500 calories or so a day).
I had to stop running for about 3 weeks due to a foot injury (fell out of a car ) but still tried to maintain my diet.
As of now, I haven't seen any results. I'm eating about 1,000-1,200 calories a day, high protein intake, lean meats, enough carbs and fat to hopefully avoid a metabolic slowdown.
I've never been able to maintain a workout/eating plan for more than a week, and I'm extremely proud of myself for getting this far, but if I don't see results SOON (Beach week June 17th) then I'm likely to just eat celery/tuna exclusively and do HIIT every day.
Can anyone please tell me what I'm doing wrong? How many calories does my body burn on it's own a day?
If I have exactly a month to lose this stomach, what can I do, no matter how extreme or difficult, to achieve my goal?
I would appreciate any and all help possible on the matter.
Thanks!
