What is a good consistant routine to get abs using a health clubs equipment? I just joined a gym and I have no clue what to do when Im there.

Abs respond best when they are worked in a variation of exercises. I typically work abs a little each day I lift, so 5 times a week. But I do variations of exercises. I would start with sit-ups, crunches, and leg lifts into your chest and gradually begin to add weight to your routine and/or start using a decline bench, roman chair, or exercise ball to create that variation for your abs. Hope this is helpful, good luck. Remember to start out small and increase at a gradual pace.

that would put cardio exponentially important relative to weight training. Besides that, I disagree. I would say that with a good weight routine, you can burn more calories with that than cardio.

I do like note 1 though.
