I am about to start the 12 week Mass workout. I notice there is NO abs exercises at all for the 12 weeks. Is there a reason for this? Also, there are no cardio workouts. I understand the logic of not doing cardio before workouts, and preferably doing them on the non-workout days. But is the Mass program suggesting NO cardio at all for 12 weeks? Thanks for your help.

Just more info. I did select the abs workout on the profile. But it isnt adding it to my workout. I have read other threads that seem to indicate that the abs workout is seperate. I dont see a way to print another workout just for abs.

If you're trying to gain a lot of mass, (which I'm assuming you are) you probly shouldn't be doing cardio. Maybe once a week, but no more than that because you're trying to consume more calories than you burn. You could do some anaerobic work such as sprinting to keep the metabolism high. As for the abs, if you're wanting your abs bigger, do resistance exercises, such as weighted crunches, and work with cables. Just my two cents.

Thanks for the input. As for my abs, I am not necessarily looking to make them bigger. I just think it a little strange there is NO exercises for abs in a 12 week workout. Thats 3 months that a whole muscle group isnt worked.
