dude...your 15... wtf are you doin being "sexually active?"...
ok... now on to the point- in regard to "man boobs" you could also have somethin hereditary called gynecemastia which is an enlargment in the male breast tissue. it is in my family and i have a slight case of it which leads to larger than normal areolas. if thats the case then surgery/lipo may be the only option-somethin i have seen happen in my family. i have heard of the nolvodex stuff but i would do some research, i have heard good and bad things about it. i have been able to reduce the "look" of my pectorals simply by doin lots of chest exercises which tighten up the chest area and can help "tighten" up the skin. good luck... and keep it wrapped up. |

Unfortunately it is probably a cause of your estrogen and test levels being highly unbalanced, or you have a high aromitzation level of your natural test. Short of surgery, you may try Nolvadex. It is made to shrink breast tissue. It actually blocks the estrogen from the receptors totally. (being unscientific here, but that is the gist of it)
============ Quoting from Maggot_dR: I'm not fat, I just turned 15 in Auguest and I've had man boobs since I was 13 years old. I know it's because of puberty but since I've became sexually active I think that they turn my girlfriend off. But anyway, I know that they go away with time but I was wondering if there was any workout or any diet that could make them go away faster or make them shrink down in size. I've start to eat healthier and now that I have a lean stomach they are most visable. (I know some people will probally say something like "Well if that's the problem then talk to your girlfriend about it and explain," but it isn't just about my girlfriend it's about me and how I feel about my self image" Thanks! ============= -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

I know for a fact that there have been at least two posts about this in the past few months. Try doing a search! As to diet, etc., there is no way to spot-reduce fatty areas - it comes of your whole body.
But congrats on your progress so far! Keep it up! |

hey coolnatedawg... what's wrong with being sexually active at 15? I was sexually active at 15, I was ready for, knew what was what, etc. Some folk just get to that point sooner than others.

You cannot spot reduce. Manboobs are more of a diet issue.

When I was teaching junior high 25 yrs ago, I had a student approach me concerned about tender lumps under the nipples. I had forgotten that I also had it. I explained to him that it is common for young men to develop this during puberty as the hormones turn on. Fortunately, it goes away with time. Have patience.
Regarding adult, nonhormonal issues, if you take a look at my profile, you will see what I looked like last summer and see there are man-boobs under the shirt. Chest exercises and diet will define the pecs and get rid of the breast tissue. Been there, did that! |
