hello everybody! this is the first time i've used an online community to help me out in my journey to being fit.

i'm a 21 year old guy standing at 5'9 210 pounds. i've been working out since my freshman year of high school. i played 4 years of football, 1 year of wrestling and have been playing recreational basketball for three years in college. the only problem is i can't break through shedding the rest of the fat and achieving that "ripped" look.

with all this in mind, i've been wondering if there's someone out here with a similar background and broke through this plateau. my goal is to achieve some weight loss and to trim down significantly. like i said i currently weigh 210 lbs and trying to drop to 185 while gaining strength for basketball.

i hope this is the place to learn some new things. suggested work outs/nutrition plans are all welcome. happy new year everybody!
