i have been taking my body measurements every month for 3-4 months and have seen some progress being made but my body weight has stayed the same (140 pounds). what do you guys think i should do

What have you been doing for the last 3-4 months? Without information we can't make suggestions for changes.

Well, weight gain is like fat loss, it is calorie dependent.
