I've been lifting since mid February and my bench has only gone up about 25 lbs since then. That isnt very much for four months is it? A lot of other lifts i dont seem to be getting much stronger at (many i dont really seem to be improving much at all) and i don't know why. I follow a good diet no junk food about 2300-3000 calories a day with lots of protein. My coach loves me because i work hard in the weight room but i feel like I dont have a whole lot to show for it. I thought when you start out you were supposed to get a lot stronger. I hadnt lifted since before football season.
Am i just expecting too much too fast?
