I have been going to the local fitness club for 3 months. Since then, I have gained 4 kg ( 10,16lbs), however my waist size remained the same.
I do not take any supliments (no creatine, no glutamine, no sterroids etc...); I have just changed my diet a little bit.
I stopped eating bread and salami. Instead I eat chicken breast, cerials, fish, fruit and vegetables.
When I compare food that I used to eat 3 months ago with current food, I see that I used to eat more food(more calories) than I do now.
Things become even wirder; taking into account that I go to the fitness club 3 times a week and that go around with MTB at least 2 - 3 times a week( for an hour - 3 hours a week)there should be according to my opinion no way I could gain extra weight.
Can someone explain me what am I actually doing. I can not belive that I gained 10 lbs of muscle in 3 months, and I can not accaept that I have gained 10 lbs of fat either.
MY current stats:
Height: 6.6 ft
Weight(July): 227 lbs
Weight(today): 237lb

I gained 10 lbs in 2 - 3 months time; not in a month.
Ofcourse, I have been running. Every session I begin, starts with cardio (24 minutes)workout.
I usually go to fitness on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
On other days (Thuesday , Thursday and Saturday ) I usually go out with my mountainbike for aprox. 80 minutes each day. My wristwatch shows, that I burn aprox. 1200 cal. on one Mountainbike ride and aprox. 1000 cal. in one fitness session.
On average , I burn 6000 cal. a week more than I used to. I eat less and gain weight. I didnt gain weight before, when I did not exercise. Tihis is what worries me.

Hope you are right.
Do you think that 10lb of muscle is too much gain for 2 - 3 months time?

no, I thinka a pound a week or so is kinda normal if youre lifting lots and eating. Still all comes down to how you feel about your progress and how you look. Don't get so hung up on what the scale says.

I must admit, I feel better than I felt 2 - 3 months ago.
My back got stronger and I can see a bit of a muscle on my shoulders and calves as well as on both arms.
I also believe that my legs got stronger, because I can easily climb on a mountin 1000 m high(4724 ft)within an hour.(The height difference 3780 ft) and still have enough energy to go to the fitness club to lift weights-
