At 61 I have let myself get out of shape and fitness over the last two years - a stress eater cum slug. Now back on track as I have booked a trip to Peru and wish to walk one of the Inca trails - not THE inca Trail.
For the last month have been using a video cardio and strength routine (3lb weights) and walk when the weathers suitable trying to include hills. Any other suggestions that will make the trip easier in 3 months time.

You can start by establishing a good, healthy diet. Maybe the way to help stop your stress eating is to understand why you do it. Here is a great link that tells about it, why it's done and what we can do to control it.

I would also try (after consulting your doctor) a light at home work out program. We offer those free at the top of this page, just click on the "Exercise Program" and follow the steps to set it up.
Good luck and I know you will have an amazing time in Peru!
