Wow...free acsess to a gym! I envy you. I'll trade the food for the gym fees!
3000 cals is not so hard. Tuna, eggs, good carbs, sweet potaters, oats, olive oil, no chips, no ice cream. Good food costs more, I know, but keeps us living longer.

Take a course at University. You may find the tuition is cheaper than the annual gym fees at your gym. Particularily in Montreal, McGill tuition is quite low. Sharpen your brain and get a free workout. Good combo I think.

Your at Mcgill? (Quebec has the cheapest tuition) At my age the brain needs alot of sharpening, I would where out the grinding wheel!
I'm still trying to finagle into the gym at Dawson through my daughter who is a student over there.

No, I am at UofT. I simply know about Quebec's low tuition, thus my suggestion. Too bad you didn't have a son at Dawson. You could "borrow" his student card. lol.
