is the man.

Here are his numbers from the arnold...

Squat 550.5KG (1213.5lbs) (WR)
Bench 305KG (672.5lbs)
Deadlift 417.5KG (919lbs) (missed 457.5kg/1008lbs)
Total 1273KG (2806.5lbs) (WR)

Had he gotten his final deadlift, he would have gotten just under a 2900lb total.

I seem to remember there were some people on this board that were under the impression that Benni was going to be better than Bolton... hmmmm...

Bolton is the man. But time is the great equalizer. Benni got a decade to catch up and 10 years of improvements in training/nutrition/supplementation industries to help him.

Why is Bolton's bench relatively speaking in the crapper? You'd think he'd be doing damn near 800 or so based on his other lifts.

I was discussing that today... how he is one of the few men on this planet who's 675lb bench is holding him back.

But still... He holds 3 of the 4 heavy weight world records now.

And in 10 years standard WPO gear will be 3+ply polycarbonate alloys.

You see that article in menfitness about exo skelton's?

It's actually a mechanical suit you get in( like in aliens) and amplifies your strength with hydrolics etc.

I guess lol, its just they are really slow....and the only lift the machines can do so far is a slow clean and jerk....and deadlifts

A slow clean and jerk...sounds like an efficient machine lol

I just realized that I commented but never answered...
I didn't get to see his press, but from what I heard he is slow and hasn't yet learned how to get the most out of his shirt. Once he gets the groove, I see more big things.

that's what I figured....in the age where a shirt gets u 300+lb in the WPO.....i bet he's easily benching 500-550 raw....maybe even more....he's getting pittance out of his shirt by todays standards....
no reason why he's not doing 800-900lb...esp with his monster squat/deadlift

boltons bench aint that big cuz his arms are longer than most of his competition. he is built to pull deads cuz he has avg. length legs with massive power and long arms...not to mention a iron beam in his back. it makes for a shorter pull distance. also, when i saw him at the WPO's it did look like he didnt have much of an arch benching and that his form was lacking in that particular lift comparitively speaking. here is a link to his training regiment. it is a ways down in the article.

From what I heard them talking about in the UK, bolton was doing a stint with sebastian burns and the metal militia crew to work on his bench.

Just read that Bolton has done 600.8 raw. This would lead me to believe that his problem, is indeed, not getting much out of his shirt.
