I'm allowed 49 grams of fat per day. Does it matter where the fat comes from? If I get a lot of fish fats, or nut fats, is that better than cheese burger fats? If so, should I adjust my fat allowance based on the types of fats that I'm eating?

In reference to my previous question about not being able to eat as much as the nutrition tracker says that I should; If I'm eating less than the nutrition tracker says that I should in all catagories (kcal, protein, carbs), but am still able to put down a good work out and have plenty of energy and strength---should I worry about it?

Finally (I know I'm getting disparate here, lot's of questions!!), what's the fitness worlds problem with bananas? I'm hitting a banana a day because I feel like I need more fruit and I like them. I see a lot of posts on this site saying something like "fruit shake (no bananas)...", but nobody says why. Is it because they are so high in calories?

This site is really great, especially for someone like me with almost no nutrition knowledge, I'd just like to sincerly thank anyone who responds.

first of all, obviously, fish/nut fats are going to be better than cheeseburger fats. Not sure if you should adjust your fat allowance or not. I would leave it the same, just to be safe. The nutrition tracker is notoriously high. I wouldn't worry about it. Try to be at about 2000-2300 cals per day though. I don't know about the banana thing. Hope this helps.
