Hey, I just joined the sight today and am looking forward to meeting & maintaining all my fitness goals with the help of some good advice. That said - How do I know when its time to change my cardio routine? (And should I aim for higher intensity - incline/resistance or longer time period?) I currently do cardio x3/week for 30 mins. I'm just a beginner & I've only been on this routine for 3 weeks but i want to make sure I'm pushing myself hard enough without overdoing it.

You just need to vary....... Different moments on the day, different type of cardio, the time, the resistance etc It's easy to make small changes and you'll avoid feeling bored. Why not try HIIT as well (do a seach and you'll get all the needed info).
Good luck and a big welcome to you!

Many thanks to Philia2 for the heads up on HIIT. I just found the info on it and I think I'll combine it with my ft weight training for the next few weeks.
Also thanks for the welcome ravenbeauty, you and ravenwolf are always there for the newbies.
Hope to catch you on the Boards in the future...!
