My mom has made this for as long as I can remember and it is one of the only ways i will eat canned tuna warm 9the other is tuna patties)
Mom makes this with a buttery crust, I left that out and shifted the ingredients a little - the end result was still really tasty and my husband liked it a lot, too.
Chive quiche provencale
Preheat oven to 400 degrees farenheit (what, 180 celsius?)
Mix:
1c cottage cheese
1 TBSP dried chives (or chopped onion)
1 TBSP whole wheat flour
1/4c eggbeaters
1/4c milk
1 6-oz can tuna, drained and flaked
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Spray a pie plate with cooking spray and pour the mix into it. Bake for 40 minutes.
This is good cold, also.

Man! I have everything but the egg beaters and the whole wheat flower. I'll buy it though. Sounds tasty.

These are awesome. I made something very similar yesterday and they turned out awesome. I used blended oats instead of whole wheat flour and didn't add the milk (probably would have been a good idea).

If you don't have eggbeaters, use 1 egg, and you could use ground oats or regular flour instead of WW flour.
I also think that if you doubled the recipe it would be better, because it was kind of a thin layer in the pieplate.
I am going to double it today, and bake it 10 more minutes and see how it turns out. my husband has actually requested it already!
