I went weight lifting yesterday for the first time in awhile(2 months) when I started my program I did great even better then before. I lifted even more now then when I stopped 2 months ago. but this is m problem I can't walk now I worked my legs every part inner outer calves you name it I did it, it was like a rush now I'm paying the price..I've been sore before but nothing like this. what can i do to..????

Hot baths, advil and go for a walk.

When i start walking I do feel better but if I stop it returns.My son who is two has my house a mess. but I will try it I have to do cardio and my upper body today..i'll take the advil and take the bath should I continue my work out today or ( it's for my upper) or rest?

Might want to take a day off. The light walking and even ( I know it will hurt) some light body weight squats will help get rid of thepain faster. I have a two year old as well so i feel your pain! LOL

Actually Mutt is on to the key. Active recovery for sore muscles is a great remedy. You are pumping nutrient rich blood to the affected areas, great for a variety of reasons. Being smart about it is key...this means not another heavy workout, but enough just to stimulate blood flow.

Yes I agree on the work out I think I over did it..I do plan on taking it easy neat time. I just got carried away because I saw what I look like and imaged what I can be and puch myself.I feel good because I know my body is changing...thanks.....:big_smile:

Shows to any who don't believe the power of the mind, and adrenaline. Chances are the next time you do your workout you will not have the same "success" in your lifts.
