Any rules of thumb?

Is there a general rule of thumb regarding how long you should wait to lift after a pre-work out protein sup. Also, time frame you should eat after your work out?

Your meal before your workout could possibly the most important meal you eat every day. If you can have meal before you workout instead of a shake. (i just like it better, shakes are fine though) 30-60 min befor workout is pretty good. For after have a protein shake after though! Eat a banana or two on the drive home and make a shake when you get home. -snow
