Well, got my tickets today for Trans Siberian Orchestra. This is a yearly thing for us, it is in fact more of an anniversary than our wedding anniversary. They are a great band, and to anyone who has never seen them, you really should. They are awesome, a great Christmas rock orchestra. They have a CD out Beethoven's Last Night too that is awesome. I even posed to one of their songs at a contest I did a couple years ago.

orchestra music is still on a different level to anything else, even if you dont like it, which im not the biggest fan, you can appreciate the work and the thoughts that went into putting it together, and then the dedication of all the people within the group. anyways, no i havent heard of them, sorry.

TSO is awesome. I missed them last year, but looking foward to them this holiday season. I still believe that their version of the "Ukranian Bell Carol" is the greatest ever.

Yo Ron, I bought the TSO Christmas cd and they are talented. I might should have bought one of their regular cd's. The Christmas one was a little bit martial in tone. I'll be goose stepping around the Christmas tree but none the less, excellent musicians.
I don't get out much. We went to the very upscale Simon mall here in town for the first time. The information booth had very discreet signs that said "guest services". Uptown huh?? My wife asked where the bookstores were and was told there were none but there would be soon.
We browsed and then had to hit the head. The bathrooms were floor to ceiling marble complete with a guy who wanted to give me a towel. The gold fixtures were magnificent.
My wife hates taking me shopping. In Nordstrums a very nice salesman asked how I was. I told him I was miserable. Then another sweet lady asked if she could help me. I said it would help if she could get my wife to take me home.
On the way out I stopped at guest services and asked one of the ladies to tell me if they caught me shop lifting would they serve me a glass of wine while I was in the mall lock-up?
The world is changing so fast.

Beethoven's Last Night is an awesome one. I posed in a contest to a song off of it, it is a rock composition of the 9th. Awesome stuff.
How do you like Sarajevo? That is the cut on the christmas CD everyone knows about...unless you got the other one, Christmas Attic I believe is the name of it.
These guys put on a light show that is truly incredible. The lead player(one of them), comes out in the audience doing Sarajevo. They are truly the consumate performers. Their encores are always killer.

i love the sarajevo song...i just love the way the whole orchestra sounds together. It matches the electric style i have grown up with along with the orchestral style i grew up playing in. Beautiful

Just got back from the show!! This is the 4th year in a row I have gone...these guys are the consumate performers. The first 2 yrs. they played at the Fox, which is a beautiful acoustically perfect theatre. It holds maybe 1000 folks or thereabouts. The last 2 yrs. they moved to the hockey arena...sold out, tonight they announced the attendance at 9400! Amazing how this has grown. Their finale had 10 flame throwers across the stage, that shot flames with each hard guitar rift. Awesome show, I recommend it to anyone if they are coming to your town. I have the list if anyone wants to know when/if they are coming to their town.
