Hi everyone! I am looking for people like myself. Technically I am skinny because I weigh 94lbs but really I'm not. I have problems with trying to get this stomach fat off of my abs. I have had 3 kids and I really want to tone up. My youngest is now 3 and I am 26. I want to know what a typical daily diet (nutrition plan)is for someone like myself that is already skinny but looking to build lean muscle and shed the stomach/butt/thigh fat. I would ultimately like to gain 10-15 lbs. Is there anyone like that on here? I can't find any info to help someone like me on the Internet and it is getting frustrating! :(

At 94 lbs you must be very petite. To lose that last bit of fat, try starting a strength training routine, and really fine tune your diet. I'd say start at around 1200 calories a day and see where that gets you. Also look into where you're getting the calories from. Typically your cabs should be around 40%-50% of your daily diet, but try reducing that to around 30%, and bringing up your protein intake to compensate for it, and that should spur on some fat loss as well.

I, too, am 5'2". I have been using weights for about 2-3 weeks probably every other day. I think my biggest issue is diet. I'm sure building muscles is going to take a long, long time... I just don't know how to count calories or do all that nutrition stuff. I will have to check into the diet forums. I hate saying diet.. People look at me strange (what the heck are you needing a diet for). For instance, I hardly ever feel hungry. How do you eat/drink when you don't feel the need? I rarely eat breakfast so it was difficult for me to choke down the banana and 1 1/2c milk and 6 oz of water I had this morning.
Thanks Return for the notice on the diet forums. It is helpful to know where to look. ;)
I will post pics soon so you guys can see what I'm talking about.

The word "diet" has a terrible stimuli around it. It should be thought of as moderation. Calories are easy to count, because almost every packaged food had a nutritional information box on it. Looks for carbohydrates, protein, and fat. Those are your main calorie sources. Calories for each are carbohydrates 1 gram=4 calories, protein 1 gram=4 calories, and fat 1 gram= 9 calories. Just apply the percentages to your daily caloric maintainence level.
I mentioned percentages earlier, but it doesn't have to be down to the absolute marks, just as close as you can get.
Even if you're not hungry in the morning, you need to teach yourself how to eat breakfast anyway. A car always runs better on a full tank, same as your body. And just to let you know, the way Sumo wrestlers gain weight is by skipping breakfast, and having two calorie heavy meals a day. Just food for thought.
As far as building muscle goes, see how your body responds to strength training and proper diet first. If you still want muscle afterwards, you'll be actually eating more calories than your daily maintainence level and lifting as heavy as you can. You will gain some body fat during a "bulk cycle" because your body can't build large amounts of muscle without having excess calories to do so with. And not every one of those excess calories will be used to build muscle. See what I mean?
Anyway good luck and keep asking questions!
