What is a gazelle (besides a small african deer-like mammal) ?

I'm pretty sure he's referring to the cardio machine that Tony Little endorses on infomercials. I've tried out machines like this, and personally have not been very impressed with them. Most of the motion is just momentum, so the whole machine seems to be premised on the idea that just having your body parts moving is good exercise, regardless of exertion. I'd go with an elliptical runner if you want a decent cardio machine that eliminates the pounding of running. It will be a lot more expensive, but results from the Gazelle could probably be obtained with consistent walking.
