Can you believe these are all actual labels on products? Have we sunk to moron level??
"For external use only." -- On a curling iron. "Do not use in shower." -- On a hair dryer. "Do not drive with sunshield in place." -- On a windshield-covering dashboard sunshield. "Do not eat toner." -- On a toner cartridge for a laser printer. "May irritate eyes." -- On a can of self-defense pepper spray. "Eating rocks may lead to broken teeth." -- On a novelty rock garden set. "Do not use orally." -- On a toilet bowl cleaning brush. "Do not use for drying pets." -- In the manual for a microwave oven. "Caution: Remove infant before folding for storage." -- On a portable stroller. "Do not iron clothes on body." -- On packaging for an iron. "Wearing this garment does not enable you to fly." -- On a kid-sized Superman costume. "May be harmful if swallowed." -- On a hammer. "Do not attempt to stop the blade with your hand." -- In the manual for a chainsaw. "Do not use orally after using rectally." -- In the instructions for an electric thermometer. "Not to be used as a personal flotation device." -- On a 6" x 10" inflatable picture frame. "Do not put in mouth." -- On a box of bottle rockets. "Do not use as an ice cream topping." - On a bottle of hair coloring agent. -------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

Thanks Ron, once again you saved our lives. Elaine was Opening the Lady Clairol for my cheat night ice cream when I read this warning. PPHHHHEEEEEWWWWWWW, that was freakin close. One of our friends at the beach a few years ago was about to consume a case of those bottle rockets but he had a few bottles of beer first and I managed to talk him out of eating those things.
You know all of those warnings are the results of lawsuits. The company just has to protect itself. I'm proud to say that I was the one who caused Sunbeam to add that warning on their irons several years back. Those damn thing really get hot but that neat little holey triangle it left on my thighs makes me not really need tattoos. Thanks buddy. | |

Think about this:
The reason those warnings are on those labels is because someone tried doing it. It reminds me of a lawsuit a few years ago where a girl was suing a pharmeceutical company when she became pregnant after using their contraceptive jelly. When asked how she used the product, she said "Like any jelly; but it was a real mood killer when, in the middle of sex, I had to run out to the kitchen to make the toast!" I kid you not......... -------------- Michael *ITS LEG DAY* You already blew out your wraps. Your towel cant absorb any more sweat. Theres puke on the floor. Your partner is passed out. "Do not use for drying pets." -- In the manual for a microwave oven.
When these ovens first hit the market, a women did put her pet in it! She sued because nothing on the instructions said she shouldn't; she won a gazillon $$ Or the coffee served at McD's where the woman burned herself, she sued and now it says "carefull hot", or something to that manner, on the plastic cover... |

Many women have redness and swelling when I wax their eyebrows. Sometimes I will tell them that can use tums to help with this, being that the body's Ph is altered.
One day I had a client call me from her cell asking how long she was supposed to "keep them up there". :surprised: The scary part is that this woman was a high position executive at a big company. I guess the obvious is suject to many different things. -------------- A morning without coffee is like something without something else. |

You have too many people looking for instances to sue. Just like the coffee posting. "Warning: Coffee is served hot"
I had some neighbors (husband and wife) putting up an antenna. The dummies didn't know to place the poles up first, then put the actual antenna on top. They did it all at once and dropped it on the power lines. They didn't let go when it fell. Sooooo they got a little crispy and decided to sue the power company. PS. They lost  |

lol.....this explains a lot about how GW got where he is....he just got every person like this to vote for him....all 50+ million of them :/ .....(my guess...his IQ is around 200 ...and he has mastered mind control :])
well some warnings still make sense...like coffee being hot....sometimes people don't realize how 'hot' really is....scalding vs steaming vs somewhat hot..etc....I think this is why coffee and everything else now at starbucks is jsut somewhat hot but not scalding as it used to be...which I think is a good thing...but there's obviously a limit to warnings....Mind of Mencia host makes some good points....if some1 is stupid enough to 'eat' a hammer, or drink some Drano because they are constipated...well...that's 1 less stupid person in this world.... just my usual penny worth.... |
