I'm sure this has come up before somwhere on the site, but I was wondering who everyone's favorite strength training/fitness authors are and why you'd recommend them.
Charles Poliquin and Louie Simmons have changed the way the western world view strength training. These two people have had an influence on any one you look at today.
In addition, I think Alwyn Cosgrove keeps a very good view of things, and does a good job at evaluating things, rather than becoming an extremist.
For biomechanics, Bill Hartman is the go-to guy. I'm hoping to co-op (intern) with him at some point, as I know he has a large intern program, and there is no one better to learn from.
