Well, I've had one week off and am excited to get back into a routine. Things have been very hectic but actually one day I wanted to workout and I forced myself not to because I felt a week off would do me some good.
I thought all that stuff I read about our muscles still improving on our week off was crap... WELL, my husband (who has not complimented me yet on my improvments) told me yesterday that he thought my shoulders looked really good. So, goes to show you that our bodies continue to evolve even after we put the weights down for a week. YAY.
Ok, so, back to the basement!

Good on ya! (As the say in Britain). Don't worry about your husband, they just get used to having us around I guess, my wife really hasn't said that much either, but hey, it took her 3 days to notice I had shaved off the goatee!

A very hard concept to wrap your mind around-muscles grow at rest. Doesn't that go against everything else in life?

Well, I restarted my program... felt like a loser because I restarted my workouts. However, I was so excited because they are all so new!! The reps even changed! So, I'm excited about the changes. Thanks for the kind words and moral support.

GO GET MOVING!!! :dumbbell:
