is it ok to eat bananas for energy an hour before working out? i know a lot of tennis players do this... dont know if itll interfere with whey absorption or repping or whatever durring/after the workout

I usually eat a balanced meal about an hour before I work out. Containing complex carbs, and protein. Then after I work out I eat a banana and drink some protein powder mixed with some skim milk.
