I have a bar and a bench. I tried doing them leaning over the bench and pulled my shoulder. Would a couch work or do I have to buy another piece of equipment?

Just do them standing up against a wall. A preacher curl bench is mainly for isolation. Standing against a wall doing a regular curl will work jus fine for a home gym.

One of the exercises in my workout is a reverse grip b/bell curl. Was wondering if there's an equivalent for d/bells as I don't always have access to a b/bell. Tried using d/bells today but it ended up a bit like a hammer curl. Was wondering if there's a way to do this exercise with d/bells or whether a hammer was a good substitute. Any thoughts welcome.

I would also like to know if there is an alternate exercise to the reverse b/bell curls. The only b/bell at my gym is in the cage and that just doesn't feel right. Someone in the gym told me I could use the curl bar with a close grip and just raise it as high as I could up to my shoulders with my elbows pointing outward. That don't seem right either. Can anyone shed some light please? Thanks much.

Inside of me there is fit, strong man screaming to get out... he should not have been standing so close to the buffet line.
