I have 2 questions

1.If I mix 5g creatine powder + 3 to 5g Glutamine powder + 40g Glucose powder(which has dextrose, salts & minerals) , & have it in 250ml water,
after workout does this mixture act as a simple creatine transport system + reduced muscle breakdown(as it has glutamine)?

2. what is L-glutamine ?
If I buy glutamine powder , would that be L-glutamine?

Thx for help

Yes. Drink it immediately though, as creatine is not stable in a fluid, and some research suggests glutamine as well. Have protein at this time too.

Sounds like a good post-workout shake (with some protein as bb1fit suggested). Perhaps a bit light on the glutamine.

Yes, the terms are used interchangeably.

In nature, amino acids exist in two non-superimposable mirror images. There are D and L forms of amino acids.
Only L-isomers are incorporated in proteins. This is why you always look for and see L- in front of amino acids.
