Hi

Could you give me some input about my last post (dumbell drag curls)?, should be a little lower than this one. someone already posted, but i just want to make sure. thnx alot

Dumbell drag curls are basically for the outside part of the bicep. You can do them with dumbbells, such as keep your elbows in close to your body, and literally drag the dumbbell across your chest raising it to shoulder height to the other side. Lower it and repeat with the other side. A variation on this could be to use the bar that is oval with the handles somewhere towards the middle. this will hit the same area, forcing you to keep your elbows in. In fact, the combination of the 2 is pretty good. I sometimes finish my bicep workout with 3 sets of drag curls and 2 sets of the "bar". The name of that bar excapes me at the moment. These are not much or a mass movement though, more towards comp time for some final definition.

i guess the other guy that posted to my question was wrong, and i ended up doing the exercise incorrectly during yesterdays bicep workout, but theres always next week.

Glad to help. What we are here for. One note on them, kind of lean your shoulders forward slightly towards the rack as you do them throughout the whole motion. Good luck.
