Look before anyone else responds, I have to say it first. I am a professional, I know EXACTLY what acohol does to you. You know as well as everyone else in the world, alcohol is not good for you and is a poison to your body. So just understand, that you'll always have it working against you in the long run. On the other hand, I'm also not stupid and realize that you'll probably still drink no matter what anyone says, God knows I did it all the time. In Montana, I used to work out right next to my favorite bar (evil Shooters and their penny beer nights) and go there immediately after my weekend (and yeah...some weekdays too) workout. So what am I saying is, Drinking will always inhibit your ability to not only lose weight (100+ dead, empty, toxic calories per beer!) but because of its effects on the bodies metabolism as well as hormones, your ability to gain as well as maintain muscle will also be inhibited. Your decision to make in the end. I know I probably said the same things many have said before me, but I also think deep down, you already knew the correct answer anyway.
Good Luck,
Dave
