I'm going to start weight lifting next week. I've worked out before with a trainer, so I do know some about it. But I'm a bit clueless on what to start with. I've been reading some posts on here, but I just get so confused!

I'd like to start out with 2 days of lifting and 5 days of cardio. Would 30 minutes of lifting twice a week be sufficient to start? I don't like doing it and don't want to get burned out too quickly.

Also, should I do legs one day, then shoulders, arms, back the second day? I plan to do an awesome ab video 5 day per week also. How do I know how many pounds I should lift to begin with?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm going to save myself about an hours worth of writing and ask you to read the posts that are linked below. Most women have the mind set that they can do cardio till the sun comes up and everything will be fine. It doesn't work that way. Browse the site a bit more and read the links and I think you'll see a little better what I mean. This stuff is actually pretty easy as long as you don't make it too hard. :)
