Hello everyone.
I have just spent about two hours researching and reading posts in this site WOW! The wealth of knowledge is quite impressive.
So to begin with, I am 5 foot 10 inches tall.
I am in the National Guard and used to be a non certified personal trainer for the people who needed to either pass a PT test or lose some weight. It was awesome, I would walk in the gym or hit the running tracks and just be buzzing with adrenaline and motiviation. My nick name was "The Dominatrix" (pretty much hovered at 165 pounds of sculpted muscle :)
Well, I deployed to Iraq in 2005, everything changed.
My motivator is gone, even with new people to help out.
I have had two since our return, one with running the other with sit ups. I helped them, and pretty much just do enough to pass a test myself.
I met and fell in love with my gorgeous husband while deployed we came home and married and are still completely in love with each other.
SIGH....... so yeah, happiness and 62 (the heat overseas melted me down to 143) pounds later I am roaming the 205 area.
I am hoping to find some motivators in this forum, site, boards, etc.
My goal is to get back down to my comfortable weight of 160ish. Be back to running the 3.5 and 4 mile loops I used to do with ease. 2 miles about kills me right now.
So please anyone help, anyone offer suggestions, anyone?

Ya know, it's amazing what love and comfort will do to a person's waist line. Maybe what you need to do is focus on how good it felt to be fit when you were in your prime, and use that as a motivator.
There are indeed a lot of smart people on this site, so good advice isn't too far away. And from one trainer to another; never stop learning!

Well not only love and comfort, but the man is a fabulous cook! Unfortunately it is usually pasta's and rich sauces, not a good combination with not moving the body enough.
Motivators:
I still have Physical fitness tests to pass.
I have an entire wardrobe of clothing I have outgrown, closets and drawers.
Losing weight and getting in shape is relatively easy for me as long as I am dedicated.
I am 40 and still get carded! HA HA HA HA
I would like to not look my age for many years to come.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm ~ I have some great work outs scheduled to start after the holiday. Both cardio and resistance, to include some pool work. So much family in town right now I will be lucky to even get a good paced walk in.
I will post my successes, or not so goods and see what, where and how it will lead me.
I am actually getting excited to start.
Beginning some Tai Chi on Monday night as well, that will help me stay focused on me.
Okay
Have a great fun filled yet safe Fourth of JULY!
