i'm 16 and i hit a plateau for a few months at just 140lb bench press till i changed my program and diet. with my new program i went from 140 to 170 in two weeks. then from 170 to 190 a week later. then just now from 190 to 210 in just another week:surprised:! i feel so superior and powerful. i tied creatine into my diet and increased my 3x10 sets to 5x12,10,8,8,6. i have no idea why it took me so long to realize i had to change my program and diet. i guess i was just afraid of doing something new. but now since i tried something new i feel so good. i am starting to use the same concept for my squats also. wish me luck.:dumbbell:
that sounds pretty amazing to have made a 67% increase on your bench in only four weeks; espicially if you have been training for a while. what in your program changed to make such a dramatic increase? or did you just want to tell people how much you can lift?
