I was wondering, just to do something extra with my normal workouts I added some bench press negatives to my workout the other day, and man I feel it. I was wondering what is good interval to do these at without hurting yourself from progessing since someone told me that i should only do these once or twice a month????, I.E. once a week, twice a month?????
Yeah, be careful not to overdo it. I think 2 workouts a month is enough, because negatives are extremely taxing on the body, more so than regular concentric lifting. The eccentric stage of lifting causes more microtears in the muscle. Be sure to eat healthy and get lots of rest.
