I feel it in my biceps when I use the underhand grip. I prefer overhand also.

They both work the lats and back well. The underhand grip uses the bis more than the other. I like overhand grip.

Underhand uses more biceps....Adrian Yates tore his bicep doing barbell rows with underhand grip...so watch your technique when doing underhand grip

as long as your pulling fromt he elbow.....it shouldn't matter. And nto lifting with your ego. Over hand grip would also stress the brachalis alot too.

Do both, they are both worthwhile movements and will stress the lats differently. When contest training, I always do both. Form of movement is important.

overhand allows you to do them with your elbows out, which you can do as a variation.

You have heard it from those who know and do. Either way will work although one tends to work other areas more. What's your preff. buddy. One day you might want to hit your bi's a little and another day isolate your back a little more. Good question There are many variations to exercises we do. Flat bench for example. Put your hands a little bit closer together and your working your tri's or flipping your hands, either way. Same exercise done a little bit differently and your working something else.
