Hows it going, I was just wondering what everyone thought was the best supplement to take in order to gain lean muscle mass. I would like to know what people are using besides creatine and hormonal type supplements. Also I am only 17, and I am looking to change my current supplement to something that will help me work better to increasing lean muscle mass and strength without affecting my natural growth or having negative side effects. Currently for over 1 year I have been using GNC'S MEGA WHEY which contains 40grams of protein, 5 grams of L glutamine, and 3 grams of BCAA'S. I have been growing and gaining strength at a great pace with it, but i was just curious about a better one.
How can you be so sure that you are growing and gaining strength at a great pace becuse of the supplements, and not simply because you are 17 (and perhaps are in a growth spurt)?
well I am not exactly sure about that one, but the supplement does help me to recover a lot faster after I work out. I have never really been "off" of using my shake since i was 16. Maybe for alittle while but thats it. YOu have a great point though.
