I'm 33 years and have been working out for 2 years. I do not know what works the best. I have taken different things and did not notice a difference. I work out 4 days a week and run 2-4 miles on the other three days. I want to keep calories and cost as low as practical. What do you recommend?

have you tried L-Glutamine? In my book this is a # 1 year round supplement. It is excellent for recovery and no side effects!

I agree 100%. Glutamine is one of the best supplements an athlete can take. A multivitamin/multimineral is essential for anyone and everyone. It is very difficult to ingest all of the necessary micronutrients one needs in a day.

A good protein supplement is always a good thing, no matter what your fitness goals. Although not absolutely crutial in supplement form as the above mentioned (depending on your fitness goals), protein is a a very important part of your diet for proper growth and recuperation.
