I've been working out constantly for several months now, however I've noticed something different with my biceps... when I flex them there is a small gap between the inside of my elbow and my biceps (around a 2-finger gap).

I've searched through the net and I guess the problem is that I might not finish the exercise all the way down (so the bicep can stretch). My question is: does anybody has / had the same issue? Which exercises are the best for correcting this "problem"? Above all, can this be corrected? Maybe it is a genetic issue and I cant do nothing but live with it...

Thanks!

Try to do preacher curls with a dumbbell or a ez curl bar. This is the best excercise to fill in any gaps between your bicep and elbow.

Hammer curls! That gap is good though, it gives a little more peak to the bi.

Then give it time...as time goes on (years) you will learn how to train instinctively and manipulate how your muscles grow. The gap thing is fine, most peole have it.

I have it too.. but never thought of it as weird :). I agree with jdelts, it does help give more peak to your bi's.

i've got the gap too. i use to b made fun of cuz its flat from the elbow then a baseball of bicep out of nowhere. arnold schwarzenegger explains the problem in his book the New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding. i never let the weight all the way down so i've got a huge gap.
