You should start by worrying about the rest of your body and NOT your biceps. If you want big biceps, you can do all the work in the world to make them bigger, but what's going to happen to the rest of you? You'll look way out of proportion. Start by signing up for one of the training programs on this site. Arm size will come with any decent training routine and good diet.

OK bob....I think this is the fourth person to tell you this...I think you can tell by jb's pictures here that he has an idea of what he's talking about...let's here it for workin the whole body...not just the arms:love:
PS...I'll let you in on a secret...girls don't care if you have a bicep bump..if you have a thin back...and chicken legs:)

Jb is absoultely right. While your genes play a part in how big muscle wise you can get, there are ways to help that along. First and foremost is to eat and rest enough. Secondly is to not get caught up in the "show" muscles. Lift big and you will grow big. Now that does not mean to start lifting weight you can not handle. Use the brains God gave ya! LOL. I always tell people, yes I used bicep exercises to get my arms, BUT I really feel it was and is to this day the barbell rows, deadlifts, shrugs, squats, that I did that grew my arms to 18.5 inches. I never really used machines, or cables (except for tricep pressdowns). Stick with the basics and give it time. At your age if there are no medical reasons, your metabolism is on fire and you really need to concentrate on eating enough food to gain weight. That is going to be the hardest thing for you. Good luck
-------------- When I consider the short duration of my life, swallowed up in the eternity before and after, the little space which I fill and even can see, engulfed in the infinite immensity of spaces of which I am ignorant and which know me not, I am frightened and am astonished at being here rather than there; for there is no reason why here rather than there, why now rather than then. Who has put me here? By whose order and direction have this place and time been allotted to me? The eternal silence of these infinite spaces frightens me.

As mutt says, and I totally agree... eat as much as you can, lol, not junk food though, but you are just in time to get mass and model your muscles... be regular with your training, i have seen that guys your age sometimes get frustrated because they didnt see results in two days.... it sure takes time... be patient and train hard!!!
