the other day was a friend's birthday and i spent the whole day eating junk food - had cake, chips, loads of ice-cream, etc etc at her house...and then felt really guilty. I was just wondering how much damage would doin somethin like thsi cause. I mean, i usually eat healthy food, n excersize regulary and i feel that one day of eatin all that crap (didnt do exercise on the day either) was like a waste of the whole weeks healthy eating, exercise etc.
My goals arent really weight loss just be healthier n fitter, reduce cholestoerol, get a healthier heart etc....
i only binge like this on special occasions..i cant help it! I just feel i need 2 celebrate and i feel if im gonna give up healthy eatin for the day i'll go the whole way! was just wondering how much damage it causes exactly...so if it isnt a mjor setback i wont feel so bad! :)
thanks.

if you regularly eat healthy, that binge day shouldnt be too bad. its when you're constantly eating sweets, fried foods, etc. that it becomes a serious problem. it might set you back, but the important thing is to not get bogged down in it.

if you are to binge, though, try to control yourself. fill up on the healthier stuff, but leave room for a piece of cake.

If it is only a couple of days a year don't worry about. A couple of days out of 365 isn't bad once you think about it. Besides we are here to live, what is the point if you can't have fun once in a while. You won't even notice a difference tomorrow because of this junkfood binge, I have them and they actually help because you will think twice about what you eat from now on.
