I have been to the doc this morning for blood test to check thyroid and glucose levels. The doctor said my blood pressure is high 150 over 80. I went because I am working out weights 3 x per week and cardio 2 x mornings per week. But not loosing anything round the waist. I dont have much of an appitite but have been using meal replacement shakes, Sann etc. I do like to have a day off over the weekend and eat what I like. What can I do to shift this FAT. I want to loose at least 1 stone.

I think you should start by keeping a log of what you eat, calculate how many calories, fat, protein, etc. The key is to burn more than you consume in a day. What is your training like? Are you following an FT program or your own? What do you do for cardio and how long do you do it for?

I agree with the above pst 100%. I would also add that your
BP will decrease to normal levels while following your exercise program.
If you can afford it, buy a bp machine for yourself, (the old fashion type with the pump) check it with your docs to make sure they give the same reading and check it every 2-3 days in the morning, that is when it is highest. You will see the numbers go down and you will feel better about yourself. NO BP PILLS!
Good Luck

I have had high blood pressure since I was 18. I am now 42. It has always been difficult to control even with medication. Since I have been working out I have lost about 40 lbs. and my blood pressure is excellent. My doctor has even suggested backing off of some of the medication. Imagine-diet and exercise-who would have thunk it. I might have heard about that before I don't know.
