Thank you so much. I purchases the 10 grain Pancake & Waffle Mix. It sais it has 280 Calories and 90 from Fat, 35g of Carbs and 8g protein. How does it sound for a person who wants to loose weight?

Excellent stats....you do however no matter how healthy the food have to be able to fit it into your calorie needs to lose weight. A food being healthy in and of itself, if it puts you over your needed calorie intake, then you will not lose weight.

The amount of calories you take in on a daily basis with your normal activity level, that would keep you exactly the same with no change. To drop fat, you must have a caloric deficit, an amount of calories that would be below this, 250 per day is a nice sound start.

One more question, might be silly, is meat high in calories? Could you give me an example of 1 day meals that doesn't go higher than 250 calories? Thank you so much!
