As an art to be able to shape your body after your mind.
Actually we can do almost everything with our bodies, if we just have anough patience and of course discipline.
A work harder than anybody can imagine, lots of sweat, tears, pain and frustration to reach our goals, and it takes years. It has to go together in a big harmony, training, diet and rest. You have to be lucky enough to find the right tune, to play the right song, to be able to grow bigger, become stronger and to be able to love yourself in the mirror.
Hmmmm....... lol quite interesting this thing, writing about BB as an art. You're writing an essay or a book?
Welcome here by the way.

Interesting thought. I would like bodybuilding the the sculpter and drawing with charcoals. vIn these to forms of art you see a contantly changing form. The artist is building on an image he/she sees in his mind. Welcome.

Wouldn't it be nice to be the prime example of your thesis? You can write about your path to your own fitness, how you chiseled away at your physique to arrive at your current state. I think you should model your thesis on a real-world example, instead of generically trying to explain how bodybuilding could be viewed as an art. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...right?

You're welcome! I remember doing those darned thesis both during my undergrad and graduate degrees...they're long and involved. However, I got thumbs up for being creative...so my advice would be to definitely use your creativity!!
Good luck!
