I am 5'9" 138 15% body fat. I am trying to get to around 11% body fat. I just got back into working out and though I don't have a lot of fat, it is all in my lower body. I do weights three times a week and cardio three times (non-weight training days)...is that enough cardio? Also, on leg days it only gives me two workouts to do.(is two enough)

Trust me, if you do them correctly and with enough weight you will feel hte burn.
Also, no mention of diet. Diet is the most important thing for weight loss.
-------------- It's not what we eat or drink occasionally, but what we consume on a daily basis that determines our ongoing level o health.

I'm currently at 15% and 11% is my goal too!
My trainer keeps increasing my weights. Also, I'm really watching my diet...make sure I eat a lot of the right kinds of foods...it's been working so far. I do 20 of HITT cardio 3x a week...heavy trainer 2x a week and 1 light day which I do abs and inner and outer thighs.
Do you do your cardio first thing in the morning?

Why do you want to go that low in bodyfat? You got a competition or photo shoot to do?!!
It's actually not healthy to stay that low for very long......

My diet is getting better. I am in the military so I do my cardio when I have the time but it is three times a week. It's just my lower body that I am trying to loose fat from. I went from a size 2 to a size 7 in two months. I couldn't work out for two months and I ate everything in site. I am doing good so far but it's the back of my thighs and butt that are left. =0( More wieghts, more cardio???

Many of us compete in Figure and Fitness at the level of 9-10% and in the off season at 15% range. It is very difficult for the average women to maintain a bodyfat level at 11%. It may be reasonable to trim down to the level for a certain period of time (bikini season) but to stay there year round ? Whew take it from the girls who compete...thats a tough act to follow.

Right on Philia and Itriosi...this can be dangerous to maintain for women(men as well, at or below 7-8%) unless doing a competition.

thanks...I did not know that it was dangerous. I guess I will just try and put more muscle on instead.
