I just recently completed the 12 weeks of the BFL for the first time and will admit that, by my own fault, I did not achieve tremendous changes like you see in the photos. I'm 35, 5'10" & 240 lbs trying to get to 200 lbs. I'm also an endomorphic body style. I will say though that I've lost 3 pants sizes, dropped body fat by a few percentage points (can't remember exactly) and have seen some true muscle gains.
My question involves the program itself. I've read that after doing one program for 6 weeks, you should change to a new routine so your body doesn't become accustomed to the program. I've also seen that you should change every 12 week. This program however says to use the same program over and over. Won't your body become used to this and the gains cease? Shouldn't you change workouts pretty frequently?

You are thinking correctly. My wife did the BFL for 12 weeks, and I had her change after about 8 weeks( I am a Personal trainer), so she had the benefit of that. I would definitely change some things, give the body some new stimulus it isn't used to. You can do it. Remember, the biggest key to that whole thing is diet! the workout lasts an hour or so, that leaves 23 hrs for your diet! The closer you stay to your diet, the more gains you will achieve.

Here's what I did when I was doing BFL. I think the book gives you 3 exercises for each body part. The first 4 wks, you take exercise 1 as your main exercise and exercise 2 as your superset. From week 5-8 you use exercise 2 as your main exercise and number 3 as your super set. For the last 4 weeks you use exercise 3 as your main exercise and exercise 1 as your superset. Rinse and repeat as necessary.
For cardio, you might start with treadmill for 4 wks, then bike for 4 wks, then stairmaster for 4wks or whatever. Just something to mix it up.
Oh, and I lost nearly 30 pounds with half-arsed effort on my part. Hopefully I'll get things kicked back into gear and lose the last 10 by the end of this year.

I only used the Beta-Lean Ephedra Free because, as you saw, it's expensive. Compared to the regular price though, it's a great savings. But what I did was go to the Smoothie Factory and buy the 10lb bag of Whey Protein for $50 and took a multivitamin. In other words, I did it naturally. Fitness, you will be able to lose the weight and put on muscle without the need for major supplementation. Protein and a vitamin should do just fine, maybe add a thermogenic.
