i'm a 19 year old male and have quite a slim upper body with broad shoulders, which is cool but my but, thighs and hips are big and fat, oviously thats where my fat stores are. My diet is poor and very inconsistant. What i really want to know is it possible to build upper body strengh and loose some lower body weight or is it a lot to do with my genetics. I am willing to work out 3-4 times per week and to dramatically change my diet, also my upper body is quite skinny and seems to be the last place i put on weight Any suggestions please

welcome and try using one of the many FT programs. Once you get your diet and training together you will make the gains you want. Train hard - Mike

work hard, get consistant and get the diet in order. those are essential.
