Getting Stronger by Bill Pearl

Mind and Muscle by Blair Whitmarsh

Brother Iron, Sister Steel by Dave Draper

I kind of collect bodybuilding books so I could list a lot of them... but I won't!

I fin a lot of old books at half price books and Amazon.com, the info isn't always up-to-date, but i find the pictures and workouts to be motivating.

I just started Bro Iron. Sis Steel. It's quite good. There seems to be a lot of motivational stuff there. Plus, he's an easy read. I actually have time to read for fun again...whoo-hoo!

Strenght Training Anatomy by Frederic Delavier

This book changed my entire routine. If you are looking for a no BS
guide to exercises, look no furthur. I have yet to find a book more
suitable in describing proper form, execution, and variaitions.

It helped me realize not only was I doing my exercises incorrectly
but also ineffectivly.

It goes into depth which exercises develop which muscle as well as
secondary muscles that get used, describes variations for each
exercise to target specific muscles and get you familiar with
terminology to describe specific muscles you thought you never had.

Oh, and the illustrations are superb.

I can't say enough about this book.

Yeah, I have that and his female version, too. The female is a litle sexist in what exercises it gives ofr women to do, but both are excellent descriptions.

The Book of Muscle if great. I've read it and am currently doing the intermediate workout in the back of the book. I've never been stronger and leaner in my life. For people who are familiar with Ian King, you won't find a ton of new information, but the workouts can't be beat. Tons of compound lifts and except for the first phase of the program, it pretty much stays away from isolation exercises. I never thought my arms could get so big without doing curls all day.
Also, it promotes the idea that "you can't workout too hard, but you can workout too much".
