I am 19 and trying to loose fat gained from having a baby. I had an emergency c-section and my muscles are still not built all the way back to where they were so im doing the ab program. My question is though....I have always had a rather slow metabolism and I am wondering are there any types of natural foods that I can eat or anykind of food I can eat to help speed up my metobolism. I am broke and dont have the money to buy the supplements that help in that area. Please someone help with a list of foods or any ideas of foods that will help... I am open to all suggestions THANK YOU SO MUCH~!!!

try spacing your meals out evenly.. maybe even 6-8 small meals a day.. this will keep your metabolism running all the time.. caffeine is also good to speed up metabolism

Green Tea is supposed to be good.

7-Keto ...check with doctor first though...it helps boost thyroid gland..

more often you eat the better.....if you can do 10-12 meals/snacks a day....then by all means do it....it's obviously a time consuming though....but you can have 3-4 solid meals and then a handful of nuts or a nutrition bar in between...

caffeine is good also...I suggest drinking dark black/green tea because they have catechins, flavanols, chlorogenic acid( epigallocatechin gallate (EGCg))...antioxidants...

weight training boosts your metabolism for a couple days after the session....(especially after big compound exercises like squats, deadlifts, military presses, rows, pull ups, etc)

as does keeping active throughout the day....walking for 10 minutes 3 times a day is just as effective as once a day for 30 minutes......
