Hi everyone, just wanted to get anyone opinion on the Bowflex machine and if you think it would be good for someone trying to gain weight and bulk up. I've heard from everyone that free weights are the best but what about the boxflex machine which is suppose to mimic or even surpass the free weights. What is everones opinion?

When I first began training, I started out on a Bowflex. Man did I love it. But, after switching to free weights, I will never use anything else. The Bowflex offers a different type of resistance than free weights. A great machine to invest in in my opinion. Good luck.:dumbbell:

Thanks for your input my good man. So would you recommend it for someone who wishes to start gaining mass?

Well, I suppose if your diet is supporting a gain in mass, then I couldn't see why you wouldn't gain some lean mass(muscle of course) with the Bowflex. As with anything, always strive to lift a heavier weight, the Bowflex is no walk in the park.:dumbbell:

That's what I hear from many people. Appently it's a great machine if used properly. My problem will be eating all that food. It's hard for me to eat more than I need to. I get full fast and feel uncomfortable after over eating. What supplements do you recommend, because it sounds like you know what your talking about.
