2 cups natural bran (not cereal)
2 cups egg whites
3/4 cup slivered almonds
3/4 cup walnut pieces
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup flax seeds
1/2 cup grated ginger root
ground ginger, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, ground nutmeg to taste
soak and mix above
press firmly on an oiled cookie sheet, fairly thin
bake at 325 degrees til lightly browned
cut into bars and bag separately
freeze
take and toast from frozen
top with almond butter if desired
