Ive got a few questions about breakfast and breakfast foods. Im trying to build muscle strength and lose a little fat. Im currently on the FT 8 wk strength program. What are some good, healthy breakfast foods i should eat? I like cereal, but i always end up eating a lot of it. What are some good, healthy cereals? A lot of people say Granola, but every kind of granola ive seen has quite a bit of sugar in it. What are some brands of cereal that would be good? What about shredded wheat (not the frosted kind)? No sugar, lots of fiber, some protein, low fat. Is it a good one? Also, what are some other good breakfast fooda, other than cereal? i want to vary it a little. Thanks.

go to a healthfood store to buy granola without sugar. also, shoprite now carries this muesli called jordan's...its sooo good and healthy. oatmeal and hearty grain cereals are always an option. eggs and toast(multi grain bread not wonder bread) would work, as well as shredded wheat without sugar.

Oatmeal with a scoop of a good blended protein. Cook oatmeal first then when it cools abit add the protein some vanilla & cinnamon, Stay away from any sugar. Instead of the protein have some egg whites.

Oatmeal or cream of wheat, and egg whites--not much variety but you get your protein and carbs. Itroisi suggestion is good too, advice-don't use chocolate pro. powder (yuck, vanilla is much better when mixing w/ cereal.

Yep, I'm with Itrosi and Eener; oats and egs. Instead of adding any sugar try to cook it with a sliced apple. Hmmmm yummie!! And yes my experience too; don't ever try to cook anything with choc protein powder.... nooooooo good!
