Breakfast Shake

I have 1/2 cup oats,spoon natty pb, cup of milk, 1 1/2 scoops whey protein. Would any members suggest changing this or comment if it's a good option for putting on weight.

Yeah, that sounds pretty darn good for a mass gaining breakfast shake. Make sure it's natural peanut butter and if you don't want the fat, change to low fat milk. If you don't want all the fat from milk but still want the calories, just add some more of one of the other ingredients or some fresh fruit.

It will be good for putting on weight if it puts you above maintenance calories for the day. This is the bottom line.

A great breakfast shake:

1/2 cup oj (not from concentrate with lots of pulp)
1/2 cup 1% plain yogurt
1 Tbsp flax meal
1/3 frozen banana
1/2 scoop Iso-pro vanilla pure whey

Approx:
225cals
