Hello everybody, when I was younger I was always so active that I never worried about my body, it never even occurred to me that it was somthing to think about. Now however, as I get older and things like depression and six hours of sitting in a college lecture room loom over me I was dismayed one day to look up and realize I am completely out of shape. Times are hard, I am 18 living with my parents, trying to find a job and go to college, I have no money for equipment or gyms, It's just me and my one little 15 lb dumbbell. So I'm here to learn how to eat healthier, and exercise more efficiently without breaking the bank. Thanks everybody and I hope to learn a lot here.

Hi Spartan!
You can do some pretty intense workouts using nothing but your body. Try the home training program here on FT.
Remember diet has a great deal to do with fitness. But it doesn't have to be too hard. Start slow, cutting out sodas and candy, eating more veggies and fruits, whole grains, etc.
I start my home fitness program tomorrow, maybe we can be workout buddies, keep each other on track and motivated.
Best of luck!
